BASH Game Rules & Guidelines
#1 – Ten (10) Fielders (4 outfielders) with a minimum of 2 women in the field every inning
#2 – Universal batting order (All players participating in the game must bat)
#3 – Catchers must wear protective face mask (recommended for pitchers)
#4 – Game is 6 innings or 1hr 15min (no new inning after 1hr 5min)
#5 – Five Run rule per inning (unlimited runs allowed in final inning which must be declared by umpire)
#6 – Pitching is Slow-Pitch/Arc
#7 – No Stealing - Base runners can’t leave the base until the pitched ball crosses home plate
#8 – Players should bring their own equipment (gloves, cleats, bats, safety gear, etc…)
#9 - No intentional walks
#10 – Most Important Rule: Have fun!
Skills Competitions (age 35+ or PYA parent)
Men’s Home Run Derby (Field 2)
All participants will get 7 swings
Points will be awarded for hitting a HR (1pt for a HR during first 6 swings, 2pts for HR on final swing. Top 3 and ties will qualify for Finals. Finalists will get 10 swings (each worth 1 pt).
Women’s Home Run Derby (Field 2)
All participants will get 7 swings.
